Most of these waterfalls come with ratings from HikingWNC — how good they look, how well they photograph, and how much solitude you get. Pick one and every pin is shaded by it.
A group is sliced by what it holds, so you can tell a cluster of middling falls from one hiding a couple of great ones — without zooming into every single bubble.
Pick two — say Solitude and Beauty — and each fall is scored on the average of both. A stunning roadside fall full of people drops to the middle, and somewhere merely pretty that you'll have entirely to yourself climbs above it.
Anything without the rating you picked drops off the map rather than being drawn in a color implying a score it hasn't got. That includes every lookout tower, which have no ratings at all.
I don't know who you are and I don't have a list of waterfalls you've visited. So for now, this doesn't do anything.
